Ines Delgado Violin, violinist

Inês Delgado’s greatest passion is to explore how music can help others, and her purpose is to create meaningful musical moments to enhance people's health, wellbeing and happiness.

 

Her devotion to community music has taken her to be the Music Ambassador for Turtle Song, a music project for people living with dementia, since 2019. Inês has also conducted a research project on music and dementia for her Master’s Degree.

 

Inês is currently a Research Assistant at the Royal College of Music for Songs from Home - a songwriting project for mothers experiencing postnatal depression. Furthermore, she is a Evolve scheme Trainee Music Leader 2021, as well as the 2021/22 Trainee Music Leader with the Wigmore Hall - two unique opportunities that will allow her to grow and establish herself as a music leader.

 

Passionate about chamber music and orchestra performance, Inês is also currently a Foyle Future First violinist (2020-22) with the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
